GlosLOC AGM Wednesday June 11th, Leonardo Hotel, Cheltenham

Please join us for this year’s AGM which will take place from 6pm on Wednesday 11th June at the Leonardo Hotel, Gloucester Road, Cheltenham GL51 0TS.
A 3-point CPD will also be presented from SpaMedica: ‘Unmasking the hidden conditions behind cataracts’ – (suitable for both Optometrists & DO’s) and there will be an update on the ‘Flashes & Floaters’ referral protocol. Gloucestershire LOC will be proposing a new constitution for adoption which can be viewed here

Community Ophthalmic Link Wins HSJ Partnership Technology Award
March 2025
Congratulations to all involved in the Gloucestershire Community Ophthalmic Link project which has won the HSJ (Health Service Journal) Partnership Award 2025 for “Most Impactful Use of Technology on Clinical Practice”. The success of the collaboration between Blueworks OIMS UK, NHS Gloucestershire ICB, Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS FT and Gloucestershire Local Optical Committee was recognised at the Awards ceremony at Evolution London on March 20th.
