The Gloucestershire Retinal Education Group (GREG) based at Cheltenham General Hospital have produced a series of courses aimed to help you develop and improve your knowledge in a variety of subjects within the ophthalmic sector. Details below.

Ophthalmic Specialty Short Courses  £30 per course. (CPD available) https://www.gregcourses.com/online-ophthalmic-specialty-courses/

Each short course is packed with clinical pearls and has been developed specifically to support those working in the local optometry sector. Subjects available to date are: Progression of DR | Glaucoma and Glaucoma Mimics | Age-Related Macular Degeneration and OCT | Papilloedema or Pseudopapilloedema? | Common Vitreoretinal Conditions | Pigmented Fundus Lesions

For 2023 the following courses are also planned: Peripheral Retinal Lesions, Common Macular Conditions, Rare Macular Conditions and Myopia Management.

 

OCT Interpretation Modules – £300 per module. (CPD available) https://www.gregcourses.com/online-oct-interpretation-courses/

Each of these modules are designed to take 8 weeks and focus on the assessment and interpretation of OCT and associated images within common conditions that present in ophthalmology clinics. Guidance is offered on best practice for assessment of OCT and the key study and assessment areas are OCT feature recognition, diagnosis, treatment and management. Practice cases are included and within all modules, fundus images and other imaging modalities are included to aid in the assessment.

Subjects available to date are Diabetic Retinopathy | Retinal Vascular & Uveitis | AMD, CSR, VR & Choroidal Conditions | Glaucoma | OCT-Angiography | Paediatrics & Inherited Retinal Conditions | Neuro-Ophthalmology
